Spring 2006
These are some drawings from another art class done in pastel.

Fall 2005
These are some drawings from an art class done in charcoal.

12-3-2005
Illustrations for a few scenes from a short novel I read and drew for a class. The title's San Manuel Bueno, mártir.

4-4-2005
Oh girl!

4-2-2005
Photoshop doodle.

3-23-2005
Non-sequitur images from a game where each person receives a caption or picture and has to do their best to interpret it and pass along the message, like "Telephone." At the end everyone gets to see the whole thing in order, and how the messages and pictures evolved into something completely different. The fourth example is, uh, a bit more offensive. Come up with your own captions!

2-7-2005
Concept art for a proposed "dumb cyberpunk" collaboration with some guy. Rejected for being too damn edgy.

1-31-2005
Illustration for a newspaper article dealing with racial identity.

12-27-2004
A highway patrolman riding an invisible bike. Also: his face and hair are very long and he is rather skinny.

9-29-2004
Wacky yet horrific photoshop involving the face of actor Wallace Shawn.

9-12-2004
A somewhat blasphemous parody of Matt Groening's "Life in Hell."

6-17-2004
A robotic self-portrait.

6-6-2004
I don't know who this dude is, but he sure is ugly!

5-7-2004
Same deal!

4-23-2004

Art from a translation I did of Alice in Wonderland.

3-30-2004
Some wacky faces! The creepiest expression in the world! And a moody self-portrait!

3-21-2004
Promotional artwork for Warp Pipe.

2-29-2004
A cleaned up version of one panel from a project I did my senior year of high school, adapting H.P. Lovecraft's story "The Call of Cthulhu."

2-21-2004
Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, drawn for my mom's store, La Lengua de Cervantes.

2-7-2004
A melancholy self-portrait, because let's face it, we all feel blue sometimes.

1-31-2004
Concept doodles for the cast of "High School." Most of them remained pretty much the same, but all of their looks have changed slightly over the last year. The two members of the faculty have yet to make it into a comic.

10-16-2003
Two strips of a proposed comic designed to be as generally offensive as possible.

10-9-2003
A pop culture smorgasbord, with many of the characters being caricatures of people I've known. Click for a wallpaper-sized version and see how many YOU can identify!

10-3-2003
The faces of Bush and Saddam literally taped over two other enemies. This is about as close to political cartooning as you're gonna get, folks!

3-21-2003
Movie poster for a thriller based on the secret life of Lincoln.

3-20-2003
Big Brother poster. From 1984 you illiterate punk.

3-6-2003
I'm still not sure why this is funny but it clearly is.

5-27-2002
Nintendo's big three.

3-18-2002

Pretty self-explanatory.
